About Us

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change provides central assistance annually under CSS of ‘Development of Wildlife Habitats’ for the Protected Areas (National Parks/Wildlife Sanctuaries/ Conservation Reserves/Community Reserves), Wildlife outside Protected Areas and Recovery programmes for saving critically endangered species and habitats. Every year, the Ministry invites proposals from State/UT Governments for grant of central assistance under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme - “Development of Wildlife Habitats” through mails and further all the required action is taken manually.
